Primoris is aware of its social role and as a specialised lab for residue and contaminant analysis in the agri-food sector it contributes to an improved food safety. This year Primoris donates € 10.000 to three different charities. You can submit a suggestion through this form from 19 June to 5 October.

First Primoris debate tastes like more

Primoris wants to contribute actively to the improvement of food safety, product quality and sustainability. We want to go into discussion with our customers and other stakeholders in the agro food chain about future trends and developments. Therefore, on Thursday 20 September 2018, Primoris organized its first interactive debate with live voting, entitled Reflection on the role of food integrity in evolving food systems.

Method expansion: launch of Phosphine low method

For quite a while now, Primoris is supporting its customers with the analysis of  phosphine up to a reporting limit of 10 ppb. Based on some customer demands we have looked into the possibility of lowering our reporting limit to 1ppb. All of this resulted in an additional method PHOSL_01_A with the lower RL of 1ppb.

Ciboris: trainings food fraud autumn 2018

This autumn, Ciboris, partner of the Primoris Holding, organises 3 trainings concerning the analysis and detection of food fraud. These trainings are given in Dutch and are extremely useful for quality and purchase responsibles in the agrifoodchain.

Quality: overview proficiency tests

Proficiency tests are part of Primoris’ everyday operation. These are independent tests that try to verify the analysis quality of a laboratory. Further, their results are used to evaluate the performance of the analysis methods and, if necessary, adjust them.

Closing dates 2018

The following months, Primoris Belgium is only closed on the official Belgian holidays:

 

  • Thursday 1 November – All Saints Day
  • Tuesday 25 December – Christmas
  • Tuesday 1 January 2019 – New Year

We recommend you to take these holidays into account when sending us samples for analysis.
