Opening of Primoris Costa Rica

2019 = Opening of Primoris Costa Rica

Primoris means support in high quality residue analysis of pesticides and contaminants in food and feed. This support has gone worldwide, regularly receiving samples from more than 50 countries. By opening subsidiaries in Bulgaria and Colombia and doing commercial activities in France, The Netherlands and other countries, Primoris has expanded its customers’ portfolio internationally. This has resulted in an increased number of analysis requests from Western Europe, the US, Central & Southern America and Eastern Europe.

“The mission of Primoris is to improve food safety, product quality and sustainability. We want to support the entire food chain by offering high quality and fast analyses that give an extra value to the products of our customers”, states Carine De Clercq, General Manager of Primoris.

New lab in Costa Rica

Based on the success of the labs in Bulgaria and Colombia, we are now preparing to open a new lab in Costa Rica. Carine De Clercq: “Costa Rica produces big amounts of fruit and vegetables, exporting a lot to Europe. Also, the country is located in the heart of Central America, which allows us to support many other Central American countries as well. By opening this lab we want to support the country and in particular the export in the whole region.”

The ISO 17025 accreditation is the next milestone, and the opening of the lab is planned for January 2019. More info about the start of the Costa Rican lab will be published on this website the coming weeks.
